We have a number of children from serving Armed Forces families at Fynamore, and we do our best to support them in school.
Mrs Julie King, who is a Teaching Assistant in school, runs a weekly lunch time club (E-Bluey) for children whose parents are in the Armed Services. This takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Mrs King is a forces wife herself, with two children.
Service children are free to attend the club whenever they wish and there is no obligation to go every day. The club allows children to become familiar with others who are experiencing, or who have experienced, similar events. It is also an opportunity send e-blueys to parents who are operationally deployed.
Related to this, if you or a family member is being deployed, for however short a time, please let us know. This way we can provide some support for you or your child if you think it is necessary.
If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Mrs Julie King via the school office, or the Contact Us form on this website.
