Is your child's 4th birthday between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020? If so, they will start Primary School THIS September (2020). You should have applied for a Primary School place by 15 January 2020.
If you have not done so, please contact Wiltshire Council School Admissions Team as soon as possible, in order to make a late application (see below).

As the Wiltshire Council School Admissions office is now closed, all new applications must be emailed to the school admissions team at firstname.lastname@example.org.

If you are unable to scan your application, please take a photograph of each page and attach the images to your email. You do not need to complete section 4 of the application form.
As all schools are still closed to most pupils, the 20 day timescale for processing will not apply. Applications will be processed as soon as possible.

Admissions to Fynamore
We have 2 classes of 30 children in each year, giving 60 places per year. There are therefore 14 classes with 420 available places in total at Fynamore. Our Admission Policy follows that of the Wiltshire Local (Education) Authority. For Reception pupils, this means all children start school in the September following their 4th birthday.
We are happy to show prospective parents round the school before they make an application. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

If there are more applications than places available, then the straight-line distance from the child’s home address to the school will be used as a tie-break. Those living closest to the school will be given priority. When two or more children with the same priority for admission live exactly the same distance from the school, the available places will be decided by random allocation (casting lots).
The beginning of the school year is a very tiring time for new Reception pupils. Therefore, all Reception pupils attend school on a part time basis for the first few weeks of September. After this period, all children will be able to attend school on a full time basis. However, parents of Reception children who will be 5 after 31 March in their Reception year are offered the opportunity of remaining part time until just before Christmas.
We do not hold an open day at Fynamore, but prospective parents are encouraged to telephone to make an appointment to visit the school and take a tour with the Headteacher. Please telephone the School Office on 01249 810090 to make an appointment.
Mid-Year and Non-Reception Admissions
If you would like to apply to transfer your child/ren to Fynamore, we recommend that you telephone the school on 01249 810090 to check whether places are available in the required year groups, and to make an appointment to view the school. Wiltshire Council admission forms are available from the school office.
