All parents like to know how their child is achieving at school. Here at Fynamore we share information with parents in a variety of ways:
Parent Consultation evenings take place twice during the school year. Parents are invited to meet with the class teacher to discuss attainment, progress, behaviour and attitude. The Headteacher and SENCo are also available if necessary during these evenings. Click here more more details.
Written school reports are available three times during the school year. In December an ‘Autumn Statement Report’ is sent out sharing pupil attitude and effort. In February a similar report is sent out called an ‘Interim Report’. At the end of the academic year a final school report is sent out with more detail of pupil progress and attainment.
Star Assemblies happen once a week and children are chosen by the teachers for good effort or attitude. They receive a certificate. Golden pencils are also given out for great effort in writing.
Concerns from your class teacher regarding your child may result in you being invited into school to discuss these.
Equally, should you have any questions please make an appointment to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss them.
Performance data is publicly available for Years 2 and 6. To view the data for the most recent academic year, please click here.
