A Class Building Dens
We went out looking to see if we could any seeds or signs of fruit forming as we were learning about flowers and how they are germinated to form seeds. We also used hitches to tie sticks together to form our own dens. We tried to work as a team to build one big den, wow!
A Class Making Flower Chains and Singing
Today we investigated flower parts. We tore some apart and identified each part, we then tested their strength by making chains. We are also learning to sing songs in two parts.

Woodland Trust 'Green Tree School' Gold Award:
We are proud to announce that Fynamore has been awarded Gold status as a ‘Green Tree School’. The Woodland Trust rewards schools for completing environmental projects, encouraging outdoor learning and inspiring youngsters to learn about and enjoy woods and trees. Schools gain points for completing activities and progress through bronze, silver and gold levels to the prestigious platinum award. The award is given to schools which encourage pupils to explore the natural world around them, while extending their imaginations.
Plants:
Today a class were finding out about plants and their parts.
We dug holes and planted trees. We also did some weeding and dug out some huge roots!
We played on the adventure playground too.
