At Fynamore, the importance of sports and games in school encompasses more than just the benefits of physical activity. Increases in self-esteem, happiness and mental alertness make school sports and games necessary for every child.
Each child receives 2 hours of curriculum based Physical Education a week and we have a number of after (and during) school clubs that are extremely well attended. You can find a list of these clubs here.
In addition, we give all of our pupils the opportunity to take part in intra or inter school sport. We aim, that by the end of Year 6, all of our pupils will have had the opportunity to represent our school in inter-school competition in at least one sport.
Below, you can see some photographs of our recent sporting successes and events.
