In May each year, the children in KS1 and KS2 undergo statutory tests, often known as SATs (standardised attainment tests).
The tests are designed to assess the attainment of children across the country. This year's KS2 tests will take place in the week beginning Monday, 13 May 2019. The KS1 tests take place throughout May.
In January or February each year, we tend to hold an information evening for parents interested in knowing more about these tests. Please check the events page for next year's date.
If you are unable to attend the meetings, but would like to know more about the tests, we've attached our presentations below alongside the information produced by the Standards and Testing Agency. We hope you find them useful and if you have any further questions, please check with your child's class teacher.
