Free School Meals

Income-Related FSM Application Form

The Government gives extra money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. The funding is called ‘Pupil Premium’ and the amount is based on the number of children in each school registered for Income-Related Free School Meals (FSM). For some children registered for FSM, Fynamore School gets extra income, to help support the children’s needs. If you are registered for Income-Related FSM your child can receive free lunches, your child does not have to eat a school meal if they don’t want to.

Your child may be eligible for income related FSM's if you are in receipt of:

  • Universal Credit

  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • the guarantee element of State Pension Credit

  • Your household has no recourse to public funds (NRPF), and meets the government income thresholds

Please apply online via Wiltshire Council's website.

If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they will currently receive universal free school meals. If your child is in any of these year groups but you believe you are entitled to income related meals, please complete an application form now.
